Turn planning into action. Leave with a defensible draft policy, real-world de-escalation skills, and a tested approach to solve workplace violence.

This workshop teaches organizations how to build a comprehensive, effective workplace violence prevention program. We focus on the critical importance of a holistic approach—one that goes beyond checking boxes. Participants will learn how to establish a strong foundation through policy, governance, and clearly defined protocols.

Effective workplace violence prevention starts with preparing your people. We guide you on how to develop training that fits every level of your organization. This includes a practical demonstration of what meaningful, situation-based de-escalation training should look like—customized to reflect the realities of your workplace.

No program is complete without validation. We demonstrate how to stress-test your workplace violence prevention plan through a facilitated tabletop exercise. This exercise applies the protocols developed during the workshop to realistic scenarios—ensuring your plan holds up when it matters most. It also reinforces the importance of training at every level by allowing participants to practice their roles, apply de-escalation strategies, and see how each piece of the program works together under pressure.
